WHAT IS NEW FOR 2011

Every major shaft manufacturer has released a premium priced shaft in the last 2 years.  Here are some examples.

Golf Pride has several new grips for 2009/2010.  The New Decade now comes in the color white along with blue or red.  I have started receiving the White but they are slow.

They also have a new Ladies' grip which I love the feel of called a Vyne in the colors of Blueberry, Strawberry and Grape.  I have demos at Meadowmeer and NorthWest Driving Range.

True Temper's Newest Steel Shaft
The GS95, a lightweight steel shaft from True Temper that is easy to swing and gives a great "graphite-like" feel. Designed to perform for players of all ability, the GS95 Shaft delivers the stability and consistency of steel, yet provides a unique feel that sets it apart from other shafts on the market. Featuring innovative Speed Step design, the GS95 incorporates a responsive tip that increases your initial launch angle and maximizes your ball's peak trajectory, while giving you the best feel in steel.

With all of the companies coming out with hybrid woods, Golfsmith's Quick strike, Calloway Heavenwood, Taylor Made Rescue clubs, etc. Specially designed Hybrid Wood Shafts are the logical next step.  Here are three of them from Grafalloy, Fujikura and UST.
